The emergency stop button can also be called “emergency stop button”, which is abbreviated as emergency stop button in the industry. In layman’s terms, the emergency stop button means that in the process of an emergency, people can quickly press this button to achieve protection measures. To turn the device back on, you must release the button, that is, just turn it clockwise about 45° and let go, the pressed part will spring back. That is to say, “reset”.
What does the emergency stop button on the generator set do? Once the operator knows that the diesel generator set has a serious fault or a power distribution fault, he can press the emergency stop button on the control panel to stop the unit immediately. When there is no special situation, it is not recommended that the user randomly realize the emergency stop button to stop the unit. And when the unit is stopped, it should be reset, and it should not be pressed for a long time. If it is pressed for a long time, when the generator set is started for the second time, it will indeed fail to start.
Precautions for using generator sets in winter:
1. Pay attention to temperature changes and let off cooling water in time. If the temperature is lower than 4 degrees, it is necessary to ensure that the cooling water solidifies and expands in the cooling water tank, resulting in bursting;
2. Change the air filter frequently. In winter, the surface wind speed is relatively large, the air flow is strong and there are many magazines;
3. Preheat in advance and start slowly. When starting in winter, the temperature of the inhaled air in the cylinder is low, and the diesel engine runs at low speed for 3-5 minutes after starting;
4. Use oil with low viscosity. When the temperature drops sharply, the viscosity of the oil will increase, causing the generator set to start poorly.
