Vibration of diesel generator fan blades,

The rivets between the blade and the fan impeller hub are loose;

The fan fastening screws are loose;

Cracks developed at the root of the fan blades, which changed the inclination angle of the blades;

During the operation of the unit, if you suddenly hear an abnormal sound, you should turn off the engine immediately, and then stop the machine for inspection, so as to avoid damaging the radiator due to broken fan blades.

Use the starter to drive the fan to rotate at a low speed, and check for uneven operation or swinging back and forth. If there is such a phenomenon, it can be further diagnosed.

Stop the engine running of the diesel generator, and move the fan blade back and forth by hand if there is a loose feeling, indicating that the fastening bolts of the fan pulley are loose, or the screws fastening the fan are loose, and should be welded or replaced in time.

If the fan blade breaks on the way, but it cannot be repaired, the fan can be removed, the symmetrical blades can be cut off, and the operation can continue after installation.
