The main performance is that the journal has roundness, cylindricity exceeding the standard value, and strain. The most worn part of the connecting rod journal is generally on the inner side of each journal, that is, the side close to the center line of the crankshaft, so that the journal is out of round; and the tapered part of the wear is generally on the side where the impurities in the lubricating oil passage adhere. The wear parts of the crankshaft main journal vary according to the strengthening degree of the engine, the number of cylinders, the length of the crankshaft and the counterweight of the balance weight, and the wear of the crankshaft journal is more uniform than that of the connecting rod journal. According to the wear law of each journal, the wear parts can be found, and the roundness and cylindricity can be measured by the outer diameter micrometer to determine the repair level and grinding size of the crankshaft. The specific method is: first measure on both sides of the lubricating oil passage hole, and then turn 90° to measure, the difference between the measured maximum value and the minimum value is the cylindricity of the journal. The difference between the maximum value and the minimum value measured in the longitudinal direction of the journal is the cylindricity of the journal. When the roundness of the journal is greater than 0.050mm, the taper is greater than 0.013mm, or the journal is found to have damage such as strain or ablation, it should be repaired. When the amount of journal wear exceeds the limit and needs to be repaired, start from the most worn journal, repair the size according to the crankshaft grades (0.25mm difference for each grade), grind and polish on a special crankshaft grinding machine. After grinding, it is required that the roundness of the journal shall not be greater than 0.005mm, the taper shall not be greater than 0.005mm, the surface roughness Ra shall not be greater than 0.80~0.40um, and the radial runout of each journal shall not be greater than 0.05mm, otherwise, it is unqualified.
