What harm will the minor fault of Perkins generator set not be repaired in time?

1. If the generator set is not repaired in time, the generator set will over-voltage, resulting in the breakdown of the insulation layer of the generator set.
2. The excitation circuit will be grounded, destroying the balance of the rotor magnetic flux, causing strong vibration of the generator, and finally burning out the rotor winding.
3. There will be a short circuit between turns of the stator winding. When the multi-phase phase-to-phase short circuit occurs in the stator winding, it will cause great harm to the unit, and the short-circuit current will cause the unit to burn out.
4. If the unit fails to be repaired in time, the unit will be overloaded. Overload operation for a long time may burn the stator winding, and the final result is that the unit cannot generate electricity.
5. If the minor fault of the unit is not repaired in time, the stator will overcurrent. When it is mild, the temperature of the stator increases to accelerate the aging of the insulating part of the winding; when it is serious, it leads to the occurrence of other larger faults.
6.The excitation current will drop sharply or disappear, the unit will absorb a large amount of reactive power from the system, and convert from synchronous operation to asynchronous operation, the system voltage will also drop, and the system will collapse in severe cases.
